We are to the CORE all about the gamer; our facilities shout technology and exploit every aspect of the Home Video Game industry. In 2007, during the multi-player shooter craze, when Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 had the industry at an all time high. My kids and I am sure many other kids around the nation started hosting Tournaments in their households. As I am a young parent and enjoy getting my game-on every once in a while - after a long days work I like my peace and quiet and enjoy peaceful times talking with my wife and kids; and I kept asking "isn't there a place you can go and have your gaming Tournaments; where all this is already set up?"

The answer was simple... "No" - so as I did my research - I found out that the gaming industry produces more sales than Hollywood. Wait a minute... think abut that? We have movie theaters in just about every major city in the US; but no public arcades that cater to the Home Video Game systems. That was only one stat; as my research continued I found that video games were projected to outsell the Music Business by 2011, that there is a video game console in almost 8 out of 10 households in the US, that major media companies still considered the video game industry to be in it's "infant" stages!

About the same time Nintendo redefines Video Games by implement "Motion Sensing" technology into game-play and what this does is revolutionary - it makes Uncle Joe a gamer!! The LAST guy to sit down and play a tradition Xbox 360, or PS3 game - the last guy to button mash, or to scour a primitive sector of Final Fantasy trying to unlock an Easter Egg or get that last achievement in Oblivion. Now he can whip your Butt in Wii Bowling.

So now gamePODS (GP) was born... A place where true gamers can talk the talk and walk the walk. Where tournaments can be held without Mom and Dad asking the kids to quiet down. Where the whole family even Uncle Joe can come down and have an amazing time laughing, competing, communicating... and last being entertained.

Because when your being entertained you are not thinking about the stresses in your life - the human body needs it and mostly, you deserve it, life can be difficult sometimes. Video Games can relate to Hollywood in many ways; most of us think their even better; first video games are more dynamic than the movies, most video games have the same elaborate or more elaborate script writing but instead of being one-dimensional you get to control your destiny! With video games you interact with your entertainment. Next, you can't talk at the movies so you can't communicate with your kids - like you can when your fishing or playing golf on the Wii.

For analogy purposes; gamePODS can be related to the 50's Dinner, and the 80's Roller Skating Rinks. A place in society that helps mold evolution. They say today's kids and young adults, Generation-Y we will call them, are very dynamic creatures. They are Texting, Interneting, Social Networking, Instant Messaging, and yes Gaming. What hurts the youth today is that these activities are very secluded usually - gamePODS gives them a chance to do all these activities but do them in a social environment - Not secluded in their bedroom with a laptop. We use the term New Age Arcard because we are built around the Home Video Game Console and because we are Pay-to-Play environment. We don't allow patrons to hang around the facility and loiter.

Some families have asked "We have these consoles at home, why would we spend money to play them somewhere else?"

Well because of serveral reasons - most of the time we have better equipment and periphials, currently we have 150 Xbox 360 games to choose from, about 60 PS3 games, 30 Wii Games, and over 20 PC games. Not even the most dedicated gamer has that deep of library. Another great reason to come to gamePODS is SYSTEM-LINK!! This is a feature Home Gamers just can't take advantage of? You really don't want to port your video game console to other peoples houses - this is expensive and sensitive equipment. SYSTEM-LINK also is the BEST way to play Multi-Player games right now - Xbox Live and the online gaming still has a lot of LAG or Latency, so to be competitive and to host tournaments - the best method is SYSTEM-LINKING!
