Your Kids and gamePODS - We are a SAFE and SUPERVISED facility. We don't allow loitering in our gaming areas, everything in the building is under video surveillance 24 hours a day. So bring the kids by while you and your spouse enjoy some quality alone time!
You CAN teach an OLD DOG, NEW TRICKS. Let's face it parents; times do change? The days of thinking "video games are a waste of time" is like saying "reading a good book" or "watching a good movie" are a waste of time. TRUE you must govern time spent playing these games - they are a form of entertainment and kids can get sucked in.
Video games these days are big business; if your child has a knack for playing these games he/she could possibly be a pro gamer and travel the world. If your child understands the development side they can support your family financially for generations to come.
Even if your child doesn't create the next Mario Brothers or Halo - "The Bureau of Labor predicts that the growth of software publishing, of which video game design is a part, will expand by 67.9% between 2002 and 2012. This is the fastest growing industry across all sectors. Revenue from computer games now exceeds that from the Hollywood box office. Competition for market share is cutthroat and the consumer demands ever more complexity and lifelike graphics and animation." (Ref: http://www.adigitaldreamer.com/articles/video-game-industry.htm)
Last video games are a great way to spend time with your kids; you will communicate with your kids much more than some other activities, and who knows... maybe you will learn something from them? They are smarter than you think!!
